Goal: ClubCorp’s Women’s Advisory Board for Organizational Alliances (WABOA) visions was to:
Form strategic alliances with professional organizations whose membership base matched ClubCorp’s demographic member profile
Learn more about what professional, high level executive women, especially those who travel a lot, would like in a private club experience.
Initial Steps
Compile a list of current or past presidents, or the top women in about 20 organizations
Invite 10 women from organizations ClubCorp selected
Schedule the meetings
Plan the agenda along with ClubCorp representatives
Next Steps
Facilitate the meetings
Introduce members, ClubCorp executives and regional managers in attendance
Ensure that ClubCorp’s goals and philosophies were conveyed to WABOA
Keep communication flowing between us, ClubCorp and women board members
Discuss private club and ClubCorp experiences and potential uses
Provide minutes of the meetings to ClubCorp and WABOA members
